| THE RESULTS OF OUR EFFORTS | |

The Island and the School The island school is now fully operational, with a well finished and refurbished school building, a full time teacher and new teaching materials. After many months of fundraising and hard work from the dive shop team and volunteers we managed to attract the attention of an NGO working around the local islands and with the larger injection of funds from the NGO the school was finally completed. The Children on Koh Rung Samleom now have a beautiful building where they can enjoy their daily lessons and our volunteers can assist the Khmer teacher with english lessons and extra activities. A very big thanks to all of the people who helped us to realise this project. |
