Prerequisites: A PADI Divemaster who has been a certified diver for six months may enroll in the PADI Instructor Development Course. You also need: At least 100 logged dives to attend an IE. Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months and you also need to be an Emergency First Response Instructor, but you can earn this rating during your instructor training.
We charge $1500 for the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) in combination with the Emergency First Response Instructor course (which is required to attend the Instructor Examination). As a small bonus we will teach you the Instructor Specialty courses Emergency Oxygen Provider and Nitrox free of charge.
This price excludes the PADI IDC Crew Pack and the EFR Instructor Manual which we sell for $600 in total.
Apart from this you will also have to pay directly to PADI the Instructor Examination fee of AUS$825 as well as the Instructor Application fee of AUS$238 and the EFR Instructor fee of AUS$164.
